My name is Lana Vugteveen and I used to live in beautiful White Rock (the Vancouver surrounding area for international people), British Columbia, Canada. Recently my husband Rick and myself moved to the United Kingdom to live in London after about a month of travelling Europe. I am 26 years old. After acquiring a 4 year BA degree in communications at the age of 21, and gaining much experience working in this field for about another 5 years, I decided to work in heath care as well. After another almost 4 years of working and training within the health care system in Canada, I am now a certified Phlebotomist and plan to continue that career in the UK. I have a passion for working with people and caring for them and blood and guts doesn't bother me.
I'm a true girl to the core, I love to talk, shop and listen to music on vinyl. I like things that look like they come from money (ie: high-end), the retro modern era and items that scream I'm Hawaiian. I also possess a real appreciation for clothing and fashion, in addition to an extreme love for drinking fantastic Tea.
If you ask me "what should we do today?" I"ll answer with, "lets chill!" Reading books, watching movies, knitting and hanging with people are favorite past-times and when I'm feeling adventurous, I'll engage nature, go to a concert or travel somewhere. I prefer that anything and everything (if possible) be friendly to the environment and our health. When in the mood, I will organize and clean everything to an extreme and budget like no bodies business.
